PMT-188 is a photomultiplier tube of high immunity to magnetic fields, has bialkali photocathode and one-cascade multiplication system with a dynode made in the form of grid electrode with a grid frequency of 100 lines/mm.
Construction design: PMT-188 is produced in a glass balloon with head-on optical input and flexible leads. The input window is made of boron-silicate UV glass.
Application: Photodetectors, operating under exposure of magnetic (up to 4T) and radioactive fields (up to 2 kGy).
